Self-paying for therapy is an option for folks with and without insurance because FWP offers a fixed rate that allows anybody to access therapy.
Some people with insurance choose to use self-pay because their plan’s benefits don’t adequately cover mental health care. Paying out of pocket also allows you to bypass insurance requirements (like a formal diagnosis) ensuring your therapy is tailored exclusively to your needs without jumping through hoops.
With transparent rates and no hidden fees, self-pay provides an opportunity to invest in your mental health on your terms. Hannah can also provide Superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network coverage. You should consult your insurance plan for further details.

The sliding scale program grants clients a reduced self-pay rate that is adjusted to a client’s income level.
